Dear Parent,

We are pleased to announce our Family Ministry Program, which is an alliance between Adult Faith and the Parish Religious Education Program (PREP). Starting this September, this new and exiting program will be offered here at St. David the King.

As you know, parents are the key to their children’s faith foundation; therefore we have developed a number of new programs to help you foster that spiritual growth as a family.

Due to Liturgical schedules next year, we have shortened our yearly PREP class time, from 30 days to 25 days. In order to meet the Diocesan directive of 30 days per year, we are offering you and your family a variety of programs to meet this requirement.  You and your children will be asked to attend/participate in at least three (3) of the programs that best suite your interests or needs.

We understand the time commitment and schedule challenges of our families.  The advantage of this program is that families with children in different grades can all attend the same session.  Please see the attached schedule.

We will be meeting with you in early September to fully explain our new Family Ministry Program and hope that you shared our excitement!

Peace, Joy and Love,
Brother Robert                                                            Nanci Bachman

Family Ministry- Spiritual Formation ~~~ WORKSHEET

The Life of Discipleship is a Spiritual Journey, one which we do not make in isolation.  We are true companions who share with each other the Bread of Life. As a Community of Disciples, St. David the King offers a wide variety of experiences to enrich our personal and communal spirituality.

These programs are offered to all people in our community as a way to deepen their faith. However, each PREP family must satisfy the following requirement:

PREP Requirement :
Each student must fulfill three programs during the Liturgical Year to satisfy their PREP Catechetical Requirements

The following is a description of programs offered at St. David the King A more detailed explanation of each program can be found on the web site at www.stdavidtheking.com
