Summer Online Book Conversation: God and You
TUESDAY, JULY 28, AUGUST 4, 11, 18 and 25 AT 7:00PM

Deacon Tom Baker will be offering a brief book conversation and reflection group focused on prayer on five Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, July 28, and August 4, 11, 18, and 25.

The book will be God and You: Prayer as a Personal Relationship, by William Barry, SJ. It is a brief, easy to read introduction to prayer, and something of a classic. If you are intimidated by prayer, or looking for a new way to approach it, this is the book and the group for you. We would ask you to purchase the book before the first session and read the first two chapters. You can purchase it here:

The conversation is informal, and each evening will last about 45-60 minutes. The meetings will be offered on Zoom. To register visit

Coping in These Covid-19 Times
Orientation, Disorientation, Reorientation
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 7:00PM

We are not under normal circumstances now. How can we help others, as well as ourselves, to navigate through turmoil caused by uncertainty and isolation?

This four-week virtual program is focused on identifying those issues which impact the spiritual, physical and psychological aspects of our lives. It is designed to be conversational and leverage the “wisdom of the crowd” with participants sharing concerns as well as positive strategies they have adopted.

Resources will be offered to help address the disorientation we may face.

The sessions will be facilitated by Al and Ronnie Martella on Wednesday, August 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 7PM. Each session will last 45 to 60 minutes and be held on Zoom.

A Personal Experience of the Sunday Scriptures
FRIDAY, JULY 31 and AUGUST 7, 14 and 21 at 3:30PM

In the recent Adult Faith Formation survey, two topics were at the top of the list - "study of weekly Sunday scripture readings" and "praying through scripture."

A four-week virtual program, "A Personal Experience of the Sunday Scriptures" was designed with those topics in mind.

Each week we will use four steps to make the upcoming Sunday Scripture readings come alive for us. The steps are: reading the Word, reflecting on it, praying, and making it real in our lives. Our goal is to better listen to God though scripture and to increase our understanding of His word.

The sessions will be facilitated by Joe DiLiberto, Terri Ingham and Jan Pepino of the Adult Faith Formation Team and be held on Friday July 31, August 7, 14 and 21 at 3:30PM. Each session will last 60 minutes and be held on Zoom.

If you would like to explore one way to better relate to God’s Word, we invite you to join us.
