FOR PARENTS WITH YOUNG CHILDREN - NEW!! FAITH FAMILIES AND FELLOWSHIP GROUP
For Parents with Young Children
Parents with young children are warmly invited to join our Faith Families and Fellowship Groups, and meet monthly via Zoom with other parents with whom they can enjoy spiritual discussions and optional family activities together.
Dates and Time: Meetings will be scheduled once a month throughout the year via Zoom at the most convenient day and time determined by the group members (possibly after their children's bedtime or while one parent is supervising them). We understand that parents have busy schedules. Join us when you can!
Topics: Discussions may be based on an inspiring podcast, video, book, Scripture passage or article. (No apologies are ever necessary for interruptions by little ones or pets.) Optional time may be provided for discussing parenting concerns and socializing.
Fellowship Activities are optional and currently may include outdoor activities following CDC guidelines. Post-pandemic activities may include a variety of family outings (trips to the zoo, a children’s museum, park, etc.).
Please note: Register now to submit any suggestions you may have and to receive additional information about starting dates. Your registration indicates your interest and is not a firm commitment to attend. You are also welcome to register for another Lenten Bible Study or Faith Sharing Group listed below.

Study: A Study in Sainthood
Preparation Time: None
This Lent we'll be following the lives of those whose actions and experiences pointed toward God. Through the Saints, we have models of how God's Word can be put into action in the real world. Our study will cover a broad range of people, including some who lived before Christ, all the way through modern day. We'll explore how their lives tie back to the Bible, and see how God's love can turn flawed people into beacons of hope.

Preparation: Weekly readings and reflection questions
The Prophets spoke God’s word to a people who had gone astray in their faith. While they called for repentance and a return to the Covenant, prophets also revealed God’s plan and purposes, and help us better understand Jesus’ work and message. Part 2 will cover Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Haggai, Malachi, and John the Baptist. Discover who these prophets were in their time and how their messages apply to us today. After discussion of the reflection questions, each session includes viewing commentary with Thomas Smith. Workbook required.

Bible study is a wonderful opportunity to explore various aspects of the Bible, and to gain a deeper understanding of Scripture. Meetings are informal and relaxed and facilitators are very welcoming. There is no pressure, just a shared opportunity for learning and celebration of the Word of the Lord. Allegra D’Adamo
I have been attending Bible study groups for several years and find it to be soul nourishing and strengthening for the seasons of life that we all go through. As I started to study and understand the Word of God, I felt an insatiable hunger to want more of Him in my life because of the peace that comes with the knowledge of God's Word. I encourage you to dedicate some of your time to reading and studying His Word with other believers in a Bible Study group, and I can assure you that you will be blessed by it in more ways than you could ever have imagined! Eva Petruzziello
Reading the Bible with others, and discussing what it means to each of us, helps me to understand and appreciate it more and more. I always learn something new at every Bible Study session, whether it's a different way of looking at a particular passage, or a detail I'd missed before, or how it applies to our lives. Jeffrey Pinyan
I'd been yearning to study the Bible with others for many years after trying to read it on my own and just not feeling fulfilled. Studying the Bible helps me to recognize God in my life and listen for Him. I am getting so much out of Bible study that I now attend two Bible Study groups each week! Cindy Sosa
