Dear
Parents and Guardians,
Thank
you for the opportunity of assisting in your responsibility to educate
your children in the Catholic Faith. While the family should make a
commitment to attend class, PREP is never a substitute for Mass
attendance each week. Children who attend Mass with their family observe
the Christian commitment to practice the faith as a community.
1.
To
enroll in the First
Communion class, all 1st grade work must be completed.
2.
To
enroll in the Confirmation
class, all 7th grade work must be completed.
3.
Kindergarten
student are invited to join the Children’s Liturgy of the Word on
Sundays during 8:30am and 10:00am Masses. There will not be any
Kindergarten PREP classes.
4.
There
will be two Summer
PREP programs for grades 3-7.
Starting June
21- July 3rd.

The
Morning program will be 9-11:50AM
-
The
second program is in the Afternoon 1-3:50PM
-
You
are welcome to sign up for either
session to fulfill your yearly PREP requirements. Register early,
these classes fill very quickly.
5.
Home
study
is available, but is not the preferred option for Grades: 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Parents and children use a textbook following a curriculum schedule.
Children complete Unit Tests at home and submit them to the PREP office
four times a year. There
is no Home study for grades 1 and 7.
6.
New
students: We
require an original Catholic Baptismal
Certificate
with the parish seal; we will make a copy and return it to you. Please
obtain a transfer
record if you have attended a Religious Education program
elsewhere.
7.
Fees:

$100
per child grades 1,3,4,5,6,7
·
$150
for 2nd grade, to cover textbooks and materials.
·
$200
for 8th grade, to cover textbooks and materials.
·
Fees
for the second child or more are reduced by 50%.
·
$50
for Home Study.
·
If
fees present a hardship, please contact the PREP office.
