R.C.I.A. - Rite Of Christian Initiation Of Adults
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CATHOLIC OR COMPLETING YOUR SACRAMENTS?
Are you curious about becoming a member of the Catholic Church? Do you have a family member or friend who is interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith? Are you already Catholic, but never received First Holy Communion or Confirmation?
During the course of each year, we offer sessions in which we discuss the basic practices and teachings of the Catholic Church. We also read scripture together, pray together, and consider difficult issues of the Faith and the Church. At Easter, participants may step forward to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, and/or Eucharist and Confirmation, and are welcomed into the church.
Our sessions will begin in early Fall and we hope you will consider joining us on your faith journey. Remember, even if you feel you are not ready, or have questions or reservations about the Catholic Church, we welcome you and your questions. There is no pressure or “recruiting,” and our group thrives on open and honest discussion.
