A Path to Reconnection with the Church
Landings is an eight-week series designed to provide a welcoming and supportive space for those who have been away from the Church and are reflecting on the possibility of returning. This informal series offers an opportunity to engage in open conversations, ask questions, share concerns, and connect with others who are or have been on a similar journey of rediscovery.
There is no commitment required—Landings is simply a hospitable, non-judgmental environment where you can be honest about your experiences with the Church and explore what might be drawing you back. You do not need to commit to any future role, attend Mass, or make any decisions about your faith. It’s simply a chance to reflect, ask questions, and share in a community of understanding.
Landings is a Paulist program designed to help inactive Catholics return to the Church. It is a reconciliation process that trains compassionate laypeople to reach out to those who have been away for any reason—whether for personal, spiritual, or logistical reasons. It offers a space to tell your story, reflect on Catholic themes, and discern a renewed relationship with the Church.
Since 1979, Landings has successfully helped thousands of returning Catholics find their way back to active participation in the Faith. This process is grounded in faith-sharing, where participants reflect on themes of healing, reconciliation, and spiritual renewal. Each person’s journey is special and sacred in the eyes of God, and the program honors this uniqueness by fostering a deep sense of listening and understanding.
Landings is simple, but its effects can be profound, helping individuals discern where they might fit in the Church and find a spiritual way home.
