Pastoral Council

Guiding the Vision and Mission of the Parish

The Pastoral Council is a consultative body that works closely with the pastor to discern and guide the overall direction of the parish’s spiritual and pastoral life. The council is tasked with visioning and long-term planning, ensuring that the parish remains faithful to its mission of evangelization, worship, service, and community.

Council members are called forth from the parish community, representing a diverse cross-section of the faithful, to offer their insights, wisdom, and experience in the ongoing development of the parish. Through prayer, discussion, and discernment, the Pastoral Council seeks to make present the collective wisdom of the parish family, identifying the needs of the community and responding to them in ways that align with the teachings of the Church and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Pastoral Council’s role is not to make decisions on day-to-day operations, but to help the parish look ahead, focusing on long-term goals, mission priorities, and pastoral initiatives that will support the spiritual growth of the community. By fostering a collaborative spirit, the council ensures that the parish remains a vibrant, living witness of Christ’s love in the world.
